We are the proud creators of "The Original Computer Idiot PC User's Guide," authored by Martin J. Duran and published by SoftMark in October 1992. Intended expressly for complete beginners, this guide introduces IBM PCs and compatibles in a straightforward, engaging manner, avoiding complex technical jargon. Interestingly, we personally pitched this guide to IDG book publishers in New York City, known for the "DOS for Dummies" series. While they found the concept intriguing, they initially doubted its market potential. Yet, six months later, they published their own book with a similar approach. Hmmmm...
